The once beautiful Grifix sat by herself, looking out into Everfree. Her eyes adjust immediately to the dark surroundings. That's the one advantage she had over many other creatures who lived inside Everfree, trapped inside the dense chaotic forest. She could sense deer prancing along riverbanks and across clearings, a small herd heading in her direction. Her trap was set, her plan in place.

"They didn't help me...so I won't help them, they're only alive to fuel me." She said to herself, closing her eyes as a sudden light breeze blew through her moss covered fur; the few holes and cracks in her wooden body parts rattling slightly from loose pieces of wood. Oracle stood up and readied herself to ambush the deer, her claws coming out and her eyes changing from the natural amber to Timberwolf green.

She pounced. Jumping from her levitated stone arch right into a strangely rose coloured deer. Her eyes immediately changing back to the amber hue, her claws contacting as she stepped off the injured deer. Not herself injuring the deer, but an old wound that's been aged.

"L-Lockehart!?"

"W...who? Who are?...Do I know you?"

She blinked at the deer, confused and angry at Lockehart. Angry because he couldn't recognize her, that not being her fault. Confused as to why her friend was injured prior to her pouncing onto him. Oracle looked at him, the deer looking back at her, locking into each other's eyes. Unsure of what to do, say, or act.

"That...that doesn't matter. What happened to you?"

Lockehart sat down against the stone arch that Oracle had jumped from, never releasing from the tight clench against his wound. She could tell that it was fatal but yet he was still alive, breathing heavily, somehow prancing with fellow deer, she was amazed while also being utterly concerned for her dear friend.

She quickly ran over to a small bristled bush, plucking lavender coloured flowers off the bush and grinding them up with her claws. Going back to Lockehart and pressing this torn up flower pile against his wound. He yelped and immediately backed away from the sudden pain; Oracle waited on his word to proceed as she didn't hurt him. That word never comes.

Lockehart just looked straight ahead, his breathing getting smaller and weaker before he looked over at Oracle, smiling at her.

"I know Celia...I always knew."

With those words, Lockehart leaned close to Oracle and gave her a soft kiss, smiling to himself watching her blushing reaction. Leaning back against the rock arch, Lockehart slowly closed his eyes and...

"Lockehart?...No, n-no no! Lockehart! LOCKEHART!!!"
