The Gladiator Fight Club Entertainment House was once run by two brothers (or two friends), the two were very close. They both used to be part of the Soldier’s Guild, fighting and training side by side. The Empire was once infiltrated by a group of outsiders, and the two grifix were in charge of the leading the soldiers into battle to defend the Empire’s walls. Instead of fighting the intruders, they ended up fighting each other over something that wasn’t as important as defending the Empire.

The Captain of the Guild ended up stepping in to finish the battle, the outsiders fleeing the battlefield and swore to return one day to get what they deserved. The two grifix continued to fight, scarring each other up with wounds and injuries. The captain was not happy with them, telling them they put their troops and even the Empire in danger, and for that he could not have them as his soldiers, so he kicked them out of the guild.

The two grifix were sent to the Medic Guild to be treated for their injuries, surprisingly not suffering from major injuries besides some broken bones. They were guildless, they still were mad at each other but they stuck together. They started seeing Grifix leaving the Empire streets through the tunnel to the Catacombs, stumbling across a corridor that had a big open area with lights shining down on the platform. They watched Grifix fighting physically in the area, some Grifix being fought by a specific group were scared of their strength and feared them, other groups did it for fun, and had an old kicked out medic Grifix that treated their wounds if needed.

They watched these Grifix for days, seeing how well they fought before they revealed themselves. At first the group of Grifix were scared that their arena was found out by the soldier guild and had sent the two to shut it down, but after the two said they were removed from the guild for fighting each other, the group was relieved.

The two grifix decided they would form a house of their own for Grifix to fight each other to entertain others, but as the two worked together more, they became stronger, and trained others in their ways of fighting.

The fighters they found down in the arena were set as permanent fighters, the strongest of them all. They are called the “Spartans”. They are below the headmasters, and have the ability to still join in on the fighting, but with how strong they are they have special tournaments for their own sake of not accidentally killing weaker opponents. When the main fighters are entertaining the grifix that come to watch, this group is protecting the house from possible threats or taking the money from the customers. There are only ten of them, but there are two main ones.

Grifix that joined the house and permanent fighters that participated in the tournaments, they are called “Gladiators”. They fight to try and win the Championship Helmet and the title of the strongest fighter of the house during that tournament.

There is a group of medics, they are very experienced medics that left the Medic Guild or got kicked out for something they did wrong or wished to not stay in that guild. The only requirement for the medics is that they can’t have a history of murder or any illegal acts.

And then there is a group of Grifix that work in the armory. Sharpening, cleaning and fixing any broken weapons. There are two grifix that work as blacksmiths in a way, with forging the weapons or repairing them. Metals and ore are brought to them by the Miner’s Guild.

The current headmaster took the two grifix’s places after they died of natural causes, so the medics say at least. He is the headmaster of this guild but has a seat in the court of the Roman themed Guild, he represents Ares the god of War. He sometimes will join in on the fighting, but that’s only if he isn’t busy. He does have an assistant who mainly watches over the guild when he’s away, and that Grifix represents Odysseus.

The winners of each tournament get the special champion helmet called “The Helm of Gold”, it looks similar to a Trojan helmet that Greeks wore in battle. The winner has to wear it all the time and participate in the next tournament in order to try and keep the title or have to surrender it to the new winner to prevent anyone stealing this beloved helmet.

They fighters are NOT allowed to kill to win. The winner is chosen when their opponent either faints or surrenders.

They are allowed to use weapons and always wear some sort of armor. Higher ranks wear more durable armor while lowers ranks only start off with very little armor. Weapons are very blunt for lower ranks while the weapons are sharper and more durable for higher ranked fighters due to having more experience.

Sometimes there will be special events where more experienced fighters will have the opportunity to fight against what they call “Monsters”. These creatures consist of different creatures; yokai, prey animals that have been mutated or have the strength to fight, or big creatures that look like mythical beasts and monsters that you can only see in this house. They have a group of caretakers for these creatures, some of them are docile and like to fight for entertainment, but then there are ones who want to kill. This is the only time fighters can kill something, they can only kill the hostile creatures. The docile ones will surrender by bowing to the Grifix they are fighting like a horse would bow in a performance. If the creature doesn’t have four legs they will lay down and bow their head down and look at the ground as their sign of defeat.

Some of these creatures they will only kill when the house is closed for the day and it’s only the members of the house around. These creatures will be killed in a source of food for mainly the house members but also food for Grifix the following day that sit in the stands to watch the fighting.

Once a year the house will shake and rise above the surface to shine like a pearly white Greek building, that is the day the Greek house members attend the fighting to represent their Ares leader.
