Stories of the Stars: Fuzz I

He opened his eyes, confused by what had happened. He was alive, once more. He had been reborn. His body was small, and fragile. He could look into the world once again, but only memories of his past life flashed before his eyes. He could remember everything, but yet he seemed to have forgotten all basic things. What is the reason of knowing the best hunting spots in the forest when you don’t even know how to walk or speak? He couldn’t understand why he was there.

Years later, when he finally got used to living again, he started wondering, why was he reborn? Plus a lot of things seemed different about his body then what he could remember from his previous life. It wasn’t that it was a different body, but he had strange abilities that no other grifix seemed to have. His sight was far better than anybody’s. He could see things at incredible distances, and even see through things. When someone was in danger he could see it even if he was nowhere close. He could sense the terrain and creatures around without even looking that way. Even more, he could see emotions, thoughts and feelings.

He knew there must have been more to this life than just a reincarnation for no reason. A reason for his new powers. He was just part of the Stars, not long ago, but there was nothing he could remember from the Sky that would explain his reincarnation. Guess they knew it all along, there was a greater force above the Stars that knew more than them. And there was only one person in the world that he could hope to find an explanation. Someone that lived in the mortal world, yet could connect to the stars, and even higher if there was something there.

So he went to her.
