Stories of the Stars: Starla I

The new living came into being. She didn’t understand a single thing. What was that world, what was she doing there, who was she? But she had no time to ask questions or answer them, for a great evil stood before her and a thousand voices were screaming in her mind to defeat it. So she did it.

After that, all voices quieted down. When she first laid her feet on the ground, the world didn’t look like the one she saw at the first glance from above. She figured the fight must have destroyed the beautiful things that once were there. She wondered if some parts of the world were still left untouched, and hoped so.

She tried to ask the voices in her mid, but they were gone. All her questions were now left unanswered. She thought to herself that one day she will find an answer. But soon she started feeling alone. It was like till not long ago she was together but now everyone else was gone. She couldn’t remember anything however.

One day she found a crystal that reflected her image. Looking at herself, she saw how similar she looked with the evil being she destroyed. Same two eyes, same four legs, same two wings. Same two paws at her front legs and same two hooves at the back legs. Same cheeks, ears, chest and legs covered in fluffs. Same five gems on her chest. “This must be how all beings look in this world” she said to herself. “Did I destroy everyone else? Shouldn’t I try to fix it?” She asked herself. So she tried creating life from her magic. And from the two eggs she created, two beings similar to her were born. They were both imperfect, but they shared the same traits as her, and both had a big share of her magic. And now she was not alone anymore. She named those two grifix Luminary and Dragonclaw.
