The Loveliest Woods VI

Under the leaves of the forest, so many of them! Up in the trees, flying in the sky, oh, so many of them! Not to mention they're tasty too! Mother always encouraged us to train our agility by catching them. And I was always the best at it!

Hello everyone!! I am back with the rerun of the Loveliest Woods Event!!! This may be one of the last events of this kind we'll have for a while, mostly because I am running out of topics :| But we still have a few kinds of creatures we can fill the grifixverse with, so we'll have one more run of this event! :>

In this event, you will get the opportunity to contribute to the grifixverse lore and earn some unique rewards for it, such as items that give you access to exclusive traits!

The event will consist of three challenges spreat over six weeks (two weeks each). Each challenge will have special participation rewards and a classament, where you can earn points depending on your rank. At the end, a new classament will be made where every person's points will be added, and the winner, along with the following two spots, will earn special rewards!

THE SEcond CHALLENGE IS...

COME UP WITH An Insect SPECIES THAT LIVES IN THE GRIFIXVERSE!

This means you will have to create an original species of insect that lives somewhere in the grifixverse, preferably around one of the Grifix Settlements.

The creatures will be FAUNA, so they are not intelligent. Just animals.

HERE'S THE STUFF YOU WILL HAVE TO COVER:

✦ A drawing representing the creature, no matter how bad it is. I will NOT judge by artistic skill or quality of the art.

✦ A description of the creature, including whatever lore you might have on them. I will judge this part.

✦ For extra points, you can design VARIANTS. These would be all the variants the creature can come in, they can have separate lore, like subspecies, or be purely cosmetic, up to you.

Stuff you can write about (optional):

✦ Mention where they live (The Everfree Forest, The Frozen North, etc.)

✦ Describe the species' customs, diet, anything that you feel like it needs mentioning

✦ Bonus Points: describe the relationship the grifix have with this species: Do they use it for food, medicine, accessories? Are there legends regarding this creature?

RULES:

✦ This challenge ends on 16th of April

✦ You can make as many entries as you want!! The more, the better.

✦ You can't resubmit entries from previous events

✦ You can make as many arts as you want for one creature. Extra art = extra points

✦ All the entries must be submitted in the gallery in this folder, then linked in a submisssion to this prompt. Use !gallery-tutorial on the discord server for a gallery submission guide (it will be dm-ed to you).

Submission example for the gallery:

✦ You can talk about the event, collaborate and ask for help from other participants in the #event channel on our discord.

✦ All of the creatures created will remain permanently in the grifixverse! Their lore will be polished, clear images of them will be made and they will all be introduced as FAUNA and PETS on the site. They will also be usable as sphirix shapes (legendary).

✦ Try to be creative and unrestrained by this! These things are fiction, so try to make them fun and interesting, you can give them supernatural abilites or anything you like!

3rd CHALLENGE REWARDS:

✦ Every entry will be rewarded 1x Crystal Flake raffle ticket

✦ First submission will be rewarded 1x Event Trait item of your choice (you can not pick items that you already own. If you own all but one, you will automatically receive that one.). If you own all such items already, you will receive 200 SP instead.

✦ Every person enters this challenge will be rewarded 50 EXP

✦ 1st place will be earn 50 Event Points

✦ 2nd place will earn 30 Event Points

✦ 3rd place will earn 20 Event Points

✦ 4th to 8th places will earn 10 Event Points

✦ 8th and under will earn 5 Event Points 

EVENT REWARDS (WILL BE REWARDED AT THE END OF ALL THREE CHALLENGES):

✦ Every person that takes part in this event will be rewarded 1 x Sakura Blossom Brush. This item unlocks usage of the exclusive sakura shape freckles trait. If you already got the item since last year, you will get 200 Star points instead.

✦ 1 cusom grifixverse character by Dawn-n-Night (examples: EX 1, EX 2) or 1000 Star Points

✦ 1000 Star Points

2nd place:

✦ 1 full body colored sketch by MysteriousShine

✦ 500 Star Points

3rd place:

✦ 1 colored headshot by Dawn-n-Night

✦ 250 Star Points
