Summary:
Tiger was the second closest friend to Antler. Horn died when he freaked out and went into a seizure, he buried his friend and prayed to the Mother for a miracle. He did get one, but one he never would have wanted. As he was asleep one night curled up from the pain of starvation he heard crunching and found his friend Antler eating the corpse of Horn. He ran and ran deeper into the caves until he found an escape and ran into a group of Preychasers. They took him to a healer to recover but he was heavily traumatised and couldn't speak of what happened, not even to the chief of the camp when they asked. Eventually he opened up to Antler's mate, they were devastated but together the two become close friends from the incident. Tiger becoming a guardian to the family. He later started the legend of the "Wendigo in the Caves", and wishes he could have done something to prevent it all from happening.

Long Version:
Tiger was Antler’s second closest friend along with Horn, they were friends for many years until the cave accident. Tiger was Horn’s escort around the cave because Horn couldn’t see since his eyes were completely gone. Tiger had tried to convince Antler that the cave was a bad idea but he ended up going and regretting it because he lost both his friends in the end.

When Horn had started to freak out after the second cave in and Antler was arguing with him, Tiger tried so hard to stop Antler from pressuring poor Horn and also to stop yelling.. but it didn’t work. Horn ended up having a seizure, hitting his fragile head and dying right in front of them. Tiger made a funeral ceremony around Horn and Antler helped as well, after acting very strangely,

After a few nights of being in the cave alone with Antler and their dead friend, Tiger in the beginning started to feel hopeless and knowing he probably would end up starving and dying there. He did watch Antler’s actions of his continuous pacing and looking more emaciated than he did, so that’s when he started losing hope but still continued to pray to Mother for a miracle to happen.. but the miracle wasn’t a pretty one at all.

Tiger was curled up tightly in pain from starvation and had started mumbling prayers to himself before he had fallen asleep, but he wasn’t asleep for very long since he was suddenly woken up by the sound of crunching of bones and grunting. When he lifted his head and saw a huge shadow towering over Horn’s dead body and seeing a huge puddle of blood around the body, he knew exactly who it was and was horrified, only finding very few words to speak. “WH-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!”

Tiger was only filled with absolute fear as he saw Antler step into the small patch of light and seeing his body had changed and blood running out of his mouth and everything. Without hesitation he immediately bolted away from Antler and ran deeper into the cave and as he ran away deeper into the cave he had nothing on his mind except to escape.

He wasn’t paying much attention to where he was going, thinking there was no way out of the cave, but to finally see sunlight in the distance was a miracle in his eyes. He eventually found an exit to the cave and bolted out, running right into another group of Preychasers that were passing by, literally knocking some over as he was still in a state of panic. As soon as he saw familiar faces he grabbed onto one of the grifix and started to shake him from being so frightened. He started blabbering and screaming his head off, the group of preycatchers being scared as well for seeing the state he was in, so they brought him back to the camp to get checked out by a healer as they couldn't get a single coherent word out of him.

When he finally was stable, being fed good food and water he was asked by the chief to tell them what had happened but for some reason Tiger was still in a too deep of a shocked state that he wouldn’t speak to anyone. It was a good few days before he actually spoke about it, and it actually wasn’t to the chief, it was Antler’s mate.

Tiger and him talked in a private area and Tiger told him everything, and the male was devastated to hear this.. especially with his and Antler’s egg being nearly ready to hatch. Tiger ended up saying he would help the male grifix raise the triplets, and the two became very close but never became mates.

Tiger later on started to tell cubs and elders about what Antler did, but decided to make it a spooky legend, and the story is still told to this day.

Tiger wished he could’ve prevented everything from happening but it was the life of a divided Grifix, anything could happen and or change in a blink of an eye.
