EMP-497: Mobius

Mobius was a very influential scholar in the herbalists guild. She even was the headmaster for a short period of time, but a lot of herbalists protested against it because of Mobius's malpractices. She gladly stepped down, it wasn't something she was that much interested in. 

She raised and taught Klein everything.

She was close to Mantis's mother, and she wanted Mobius to be Mantis's godmother and name him. Mobius became later Mobius's teacher, and she was the only one he would listen to.

One time, Mobius went on an expedition with the greenseekers and disappeared after walking off on her own. They waited and looked for her for weeks without success, so they had to return to the Empire and declare her dead. The other members of the expedition were Su, Elysia, Yae Sakura's older sister, Kevin, Eden and Fu Hua. Yae's sister died looking for Mobius before the others decided to return.

Mantis was very angry when he found of his teacher's passing, and resented the other members of the expedition for the rest of his life. He considered that Mobius was the only one who did research "the right way" and tried to work like she did, which led him to his death eventually.
