EVE-165: Sugar Melon

Sugar Melon and Zephyr lost their parents at a pretty young age, but not so soon as to not remember them. After that they were adopted by the Queen, like most orphan children in the Village. Still, they never grew so attached to the Queen as to see her as their mother, like most did, because they knew their parents very well, unlike most other orphans there. Melon became a very good warrior and due to his quick thinking and the fact that he always made the best decision and analyzed everything objectively, he was named captain of the Royal Guard at a pretty young age. The Royal guard is a small group of warriors that is under the Queen’s command, but still subordinated to the Warrior Captain. They are mostly orphans raised at the castle, so they all know each other very well. And that’s why Melon did a decent job as a captain there, because he really doesn’t have many leadership capabilities. If put in the situation of controlling a bigger group of warriors, he would probably fail at communication. He could only perform well around the grifix he knew well and got along with.

Even though most of the male orphans join the Royal Guard, Zephyr chose to not due to him not wanting to be subordinated to his brother like that. They have a pretty good relationship, but still that would be annoying. 

Melon gets along pretty well with Silver Wing too, and that sometimes pisses off his brother. However his job takes up a lot of time so he doesn’t get to spend much time with her and Zephyr. 

Misc: rumor says he dated half of the guards same age as him at some point.
