EVE-169: Venessa Breeze

Venessa was born in a dark age, when the Village was at its worst but she didn’t know anything better so she wasn’t bothered by it. Unlike most grifix, she could see all sorts of options for herself, but she just couldn’t sense the danger behind them. She always saw the good in people, and so she did with Eclipsa. She even dared to wish to become the Queen’s friend. 

Her dream as a child was to become a warrior. She didn’t take no for anything and ignored everyone who told her it was impossible, it was breaking the law and Eclipsa would kill her. In her naivety, she hang on to her dream, not even thinking something could oppose it. Eclipsa didn’t tell her no, so she thought that she succeeded. She didn’t imagine that she was actually betrayed by the one who she put her trust in. Too naive to see the obvious, she met her end at a young age, leaving those who cared for her behind. So much she had to learn from that event, but how could she learn anything when it was all already over? 

Her lover ended up alone and broken among people that only saw her as an object. Her daughter was raised by her parents’ murderer. It was all so painful to see. But nothing could be changed.

Because she died soon after her and Minerva laid their egg, the egg absorbed very little magic from her. That caused their daughter to look mostly like Minerva, and barely inherit nu traits from Venessa. That’s why Selenara looks almost the same as Minerva and doesn’t have many traits from Venessa.
