EVE-222: Crimson Flare

She was the healer before Night Woods. She never lost her vision, and therefore was never able to see sphirix. Because of that, the Village never truly accepted her, knowing that she was never fully accepted by the stars, possibly because of something she did. Eclipsa was forcing the healers to take on apprentices as soon as the old healer would die, which made her take Night Woods is while she was still very young. 

She was very close with a certain mare, Frozen Forest, but they had to split up due to their ideals. Crimson Flare had to serve the queen as part of her duty and Frozen Forest decided to lead a revolution against the queen. A civil war broke out in the village, the revolution being led by Frozen Forest. In the end, Frozen Forest lost her mind, overwhelmed by her own power, destroyed the whole forest and got stabbed in the back by Eclipsa herself because she wasn't paying any attention to her surroundings, believing she was unapproachable.

Crimson Flare was sad to find about the death of her friend in such a humiliating way... Frozen Forest lost all of her honour.

Few days later, one of the grifix that took part in the failed revolution tried to assassinate the Queen in the throne room, while Crimson Flare was there. Crimson Flare jumped to protect the queen and got stabbed in her stead. The queen then killed the assassin, but Crimson Flare died.

Frozen Forest left behind an egg, who was later to become Frozen Mountain.
