EVE-381: Cumulus Fog

He is Stratus Sky, Cloud Breeze and Stargazer’s father, Cirrus Grey’s mate, Blue Emberline’s father-in-law, Malachite Storm’s older brother, Kunzite’s brother-in-law, and Dreamy Cloud, Seraphina Stone, and Teulia’s grandfather.

Cumulus was a warrior for many years, meeting Cirrus Sky when he would come to the castle to do a daily report. But his years as a warrior came to a halt during the end of his career as a warrior and guard when he came in contact with the deadly fungus that every grifix knows about.. the Sphix.

Him and his friends Malachite Storm, Sandshine and Mossy Stone where out on a patrol and had decided to take a dip in a small pond, all of them getting out after a bit and Cumulus’s hair was plastered against his eyes, he was having a hard time moving it as she accidentally stumbled and fell into a pile of brush, moving his hair as he stood up and started to walk away and back to the village, not knowing that in the brush was a pile of the Sphix mushrooms.

A few days after the day he came in contact with the deadly mushroom, him and his friend group were out on another patrol before Cumulus’s skin started to become pale and his sparkles started to fade, Malachite seeing this after Cumulus collapsed and started to cough. “Foggy..?” Malachite had asked before starting to see his friend’s gems starting to turn colors, telling Cumulus to stay where he was and ordered everyone else to run back to the village to get Black Sunset and warn the queen.

Cumulus was laying in the brush when Black Sunset arrived with the queen and some warriors, then taking him back to the village where Black Sunset made the mixture to put on his gems and told him to rest for a while. Fog’s hair was dull and straight and not fluffed up from how his magic was drained from him. After a few days of resting and being off duty from the orders of Black Sunset, Fog’s gems began to come back to his regular blue color and his sparkles returned as well as his skin color brightened up.. he was healed!

He was released to continue his duties but he refused to return to the forest and asked the Queen if he could stay as a guard of the castle from how scared he was about becoming in contact with the mushroom again, the Queen saying it was okay and that’s when he met his mate Cirrus Sky, and after a few years they hair their twins and their oldest son.

He trained his sons to be good warrior, but when he heard about his daughter’s mate, he was devastated just like everyone else. He took care of Dreamy while his daughter was at work in the castle, just to keep her happy and keep her mind off the loss of her father, but he saw the death of his daughter’s mate broke his oldest son’s heart tremendously, the male being Stargazer’s best friend from childhood.

Now Foggy watches his children and grandchildren enjoy their lives in the village as him and his mate relax and enjoy retirement.
