Mossy Stone is Sparkleberry’s mate, Firestone and Blue Emberline’s father, Moonshadow and Stargazer’s father-in-law, Cloud Boreal and Larimar Nimbus’s younger brother, Bismuth and Sandshine’s brother-in-law, Black Zirconia, Astral Blight and Shunson Blight’s uncle, and Seraphina Stone, Teulia, and Dreamy Cloud’s grandfather.
Mossy grew up with his older siblings, being picked on because he was the younger sibling but he was also teased that or used to wear their father’s top hat that his father game him and told him it was made by a pony hat maker. Mossy unfortunately got the hat all dirty and torn up and his father was upset about it, and it made Mossy upset and cry, feeling bad because of ruining his father’s hat that was passed down from generations.
Mossy was sent by his father to become a castle guard, Mossy feeling like he wouldn’t be fit for the job. With his siblings becoming different positions in the village, Mossy ended up training with Cumulus Fog, Malachite Storm and Sandshine. The four became great friends and Mossy over time become stronger than the others, except for Malachite Storm, he was super strong. Mossy was there during the time Cumulus came in contact with the Sphix, praying to the ancestors he would be okay and thank god he was after Black Sunset healed him.
He loves both his daughter very much as well as his grandchildren. He sometimes helps Seraphina with her long hair after she came in contract with poison joke. Mossy met Sparkleberry during their time in the castle and always brought her berries and berry cakes that he would make special for her when he had the chance. There was a time Sparkleberry brought Mossy a wedding gift, and it was a replica of his father’s hat, he was absolutely in tears when he saw it and thanked her for it, seeing she got it from the same hat maker, and now he only wore it for special occasions until he grew older, then he wore it everyday.
