EVE-503: Nettlekiss

Nettlekiss was born in the Everfree Village at the End of Eclipsa's reign. She could remember watching the Queen's Apprentice come up to the balcony of the castle every morning and wave at the grifix below every morning as the sun rose above the tall trees of the forest. She was always so excited to see the young Selenara wave at them, almost as bright as the sun! But she also remembered being scared by the dark grifix always standing behind her - the old queen, Eclipsa. Her parents always told her stories about her, and she sounded terrifying! Every time she misbehaved they would say "If you don't behave, Queen Eclipsa will come to kidnap you at night!" What a dumb thing, she thought, looking back at it.

Nettlekiss grew up playing with the other cubs in the village. She'd often play with her cousin - the two of them had the same name, because their mothers were twins and decided to name their children the same name when they ended up having babies at the same time. It was quite confusing for the two, but eventually they grew used to it. Their parents used to always keep them together and take turns taking care of them - it was easier for them that way. But they were often watched over by elders of the village along with other cubs - that was a usual thing for cubs in the Village. They grew up playing in the forest, chasing the sun rays that shone through the leaves, moving across the ground because of the wind. Nettlekiss always loved living in the Everfree Village - and she could feel the elders brighten up as time passed - it was the end of a dark era, and the beginning of a bright, beautiful time for the Village!
