Profile EVE-70: Nettlekiss

She’s a very kind old lady, and when she was still young, she really wanted a child, but unfortunately she could never have had cubs of her own she thought so at least. But when Nettlekiss had already spent half of her life tending birds and building birdhouses for them with the children she looked after (which is why she was called the Mother of Birds), she actually managed to create an egg with someone, but noone knows who was the parent of her daughter.

She didn’t even know her daughter and her mate will come back again and left their own egg, but when Nettlekiss learned it, she immediately took the cold egg, at the same time warming it with her own warmth. She was worried that the fetus had died, because the egg was very cold. But what was her happiness whenafter a long time the egg hatched a cub with the whitest fur and hair she had ever seen! Nettlekiss named the baby Phoenix, because he was reborn just like this bird.

She raised the little Phoenix as lovingly as if he was her own son, but she thought he deserved to know his true origin.
