TRIBE-576: Freezing Ice

Freezing Ice was the middle child of three siblings, the others being Freezing Rose and Freezing Sun.
Their bloodline were some of the proudest grifix in the Starfell Clan. They claimed to be the most "pure", and they were the "rightful" leaders of the Starfell Clan. For many generations, grifix from their bloodline were picked as the head of the Starfell Clan. As the oldest of the three siblings, Freezing Rose was to become the next Head of the Starfell Clan after their uncle, Boreal Woods.

Freezing Rose got into an affair with a healer once, and Freezing Ice, found out about it. Freezing Rose implored him to not tell anyone, and he cared for her, so he kept his mouth shut. But then Freezing Sun found out about it, and she also promised to keep silent, but then one night, while Freezing Rose was out with her healer lover, and Freezing Ice was keeping watch so they wouldn't be found out, Freezing Sun alerted their family about it. 

She led them to her siblings and Freezing Rose was found out. Angered, they kicked her out of the clan, erased her name from all records and demanded that it would be forgotten. 

Initially, they intended to let Freezing Ice get away with helping his sister, but Freezing Sun insisted that he should meet the same fate. It was a very extreme measure, so they didn't do that, but in the end they did agree to also kick him out of the Starfell Clan.

Now that her siblings were out of the picture, Freezing Sun became the heir to the Head of the Starfell Clan, as she had always wanted.

Freezing Ice, being kicked out of the Starfell Clan, joined the healers along with his sister, Freezing Rose, who's death soon followed. He was sure she had been poisoned by their family, and he couldn't help but worry that he would be next. He was wrong, what followed was much worse.

He became a fairly popular Healer and married the most gorgeous grifix in their time. After a few years, he thought he was safe. Now Freezing Sun became the Head of the Starfell clan, so he could no longer be of any threat to her. So he let his guard down.

When him and his wife made an egg, she started getting sick. The healers couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. Some said it was likely side effects from feeding the egg with her magic, and it would go away. He tried to take the egg from her and feed it more of his magic, but she didn't want to part from it.

And so, soon after their daughter Silver Birch hatched, his lover passed away.

He was so angry. He never would've thought they'd go for his loved ones instead of him. He now knew he had to protect the little he had left: his daughter. They would never get her, he will always be there to protect her, and she will always know where her enemies lie.
