Not-Dogs are similar to Not-Cats, they look like dogs, they act like dogs, but something is a little..off..about them. Grifix that hadn't seen real dogs or don't have a dog sphirix will think they are dogs, but those that have will be put off by them.

They were formed from the memory of dogs. They love to play especially with young cubs and are very friendly. They make great family pets. Just don't mind the extra eyes.
