Stories from the Past: Arc I, part 2

The little queen looked downhill to her right. There was a hut that seemed different from all the other houses. It was sort of farther from the others, round and had smoke coming out of the roof. She thought she would go there, the place seemed quite interesting.

As she approached, she saw two fillies that were talking to each other. There was a white one with her mane yellow shining like the sun, and there was one with her coat dark, almost as black as Eclipsa’s, her mane resembling the colors of a red sunset seen through the leaves of the forest. The white one seemed to be scolding the dark one for something, but the dark one didn’t seem bothered, she was laughing and smiling.

Nara got closer to them. The black one stood with the back at her so she didn’t seem to notice her, but the white one noticed her and looked surprised at her. Seeing that, the other one turned around and looked at her.

‘H...hello…’ said Selenara, not being sure what else she could say.

‘Ha! Look who’s here! The little queen! What an unexpected visitor!’ Exclaimed the dark one.

‘Bow you moron!’ Whispered aggressively the other one, pushing her head down while bowing herself.

‘Aghh leave me alone, she’s obviously not here with any official stuff, at this point she’s most definitely here to play with us, right?’ Said the dark one pushing the white one away.

‘R...right.’ Said Selenara, a bit overwhelmed by her energy.

‘Tsk, doesn’t change that you have to respect the formalities! Ugh… whatever… Your majesty, please forgive my sister, she doesn’t mean to be impolite. My name is Sunrise…’ spoke the white one, but didn’t get to finish cause the black one started speaking over her:

‘And I’m Black Sunset! I’m the healer disciple!’ She introduced herself proudly.

’I… I’m Selenara but you can call me Nara. Glad to meet you!’

‘Nara, huh? Leaving all the formalities away? How surprising, ain’t it sister?’ Said Black Sunset getting close to Nara and slightly bumping into her. Her sister sighed.

‘You are very lucky, you know? I have just gotten some free time from my very important healer duties, so I have time to play with you!’ Black Sunset turned to talk to Selenara.

‘Ugh… you make it sound like you’re really busy… should we go get some other children to play with us? There aren’t many things we could do only the three of us.’ Said Sunrise.
