"Sparkly bastard"

— So she did that, at the workshop, shamelessly, and the other peeps aren't talking to you since then. — Avalon asked cautiously, lowering his head and looking at Eliza with his ever-so-serious eyes. Antoine, standing up by his side, simply tilted his head to a side as his pupils widened.

The green-ish Grifix nodded slowly, the gesture barely noticeable under the blanket they found refuge under. They hadn't left their little shelter in a long while. 

A snarky smirk curled Avalon's lips upwards shortly after.

— I thought my work was already lame but, you know? She does it for free. Daily. The ugly glittery bast-—

Before he could finish speaking, Antoine tugged with his reddish paw at Avalon's hair. Hit by realization, the taller Grifix sighed with disdain.

— Excuse me, my crystal coat is FABULOUS, and all of us have sparkly hair—Antoine snorted—. Whatever, listen to me. Imagine wearing clothes just as sparkling as my hair, to the point it gives us all an eyestrain. That's her. And her face, oh her face. Ewgh.

— You're rambling again. —Eliza commented shyly, smiling a bit. It always got them in a good mood.

— I know you like it. I wouldn't waste my breath on that little piece of shit so easily.

Before they engaged in small talk, the black Grifix growled and coughed, but he accidentally choked on his saliva and needed a moment to recover. As soon as the attention went back to him, he pictured something with his claw on the floor: two circles and a line. Avalon opened his mouth, but he was slapped in the face by Antoine, creating small cuts across the bigger Grifix's face. Instead of revenging, he understood what he meant and left, leaving Eliza alone in the room.
