Character Submission Tutorial

first of all, if your character has been redesigned at some point please upload the original design first, then make a design update for the new design. skip to the end of the post if you wanna see how to do that (last two pictures).

From the home page, click on home>my myo Slots

From your myo slot list, click on the one you want to submit:

From the myo page, click "submit MYO design":

Click "create request":

Now you have to fill in all the information, until all the red "x"s are gone. click on comments:

You don't have to fill anything here, just click "save". if you want to you can add a comment, but you can also leave it empty:

Click on "masterlist image" and add your character's reference:

If your character has a icon drawn by @mysteriousshine (in other words, an official icon) turn "use image cropper" off:

Now you can upload the icon as well. If your character does not have an official icon, simply leave the image cropper on:

Once you uploaded the images, select the designer and artist. you can add more by clicking the + on the right side:

Click "save" once you're done:

go to add-ons:

once again, you don't have to do anything here, just click "save":

now go to traits:

select the species, subtype and rarity, then move on to traits. make sure you select the rarity, even if it's wrong! select all the traits by clicking "add trait". once you're done, save:

now go back to status:

click "submit request" and notify an admin (preferably @mysteriousshine) on discord in order to get it approved asap.

once the character has been approved, go to the character's page and click "edit profile":

click "add custom value":

fill the custom values like this (the ones framed are mandatory, the others are just suggestions):

select the location and faction. if you need help figuring out the faction ask @mysteriousshine on discord. the faction is pretty much the same as the "rank":

add the character's bio in the profile content along with whatever information you want, then select wether you allow gift art and writing or not:

Then click "edit profile" and you're done!

Now, please go to the gallery submission guide and submit all the arts you made for your charcter or anything in the grifixverse. if your characters have arts made by someone on this website, ask them to submit those as well. if your characters have arts made by someone that isn't registered on this website contact @mysteriousshine and they will be uploaded on the site by the admin account.

if your character has been redesigned at some point, icluding if it wasn't a grifix originally, please submit the original design first! Once the character is approved, click on "update design":

then click on create request:

then follow the same steps as before, but with the new design. do this with every redesign your character got, in order.
