What are the Star Points?
The Star Points are currency you can accumulate by creating grifix related content, which you can use to buy MYOs and adopts, unlock stories and other stuff.
Star Points can be found as Star Coiins (which is just their actual value) or Starlit Leaves (which is just a shorter way to write them. There are 3 levels of Starlit Leaves and each values a certain amount of Star Points).
STAR COINS = 1 SP
SPRING LEAF = 5 SP
SKY LEAF = 10 SP
STAR LEAF = 100 SP

How do I get them?
You get star points by making entries in our challenges and events, or just by making or commissioning/requesting content of the species. The quality/quantity of the content influences the amount of Star Points you get.
Art Star Points
You can obtain those by making entries for art challenges and DTA’s, or just by randomly making/commissioning/requesting arts of the species. The art you get as gifts from @MysteriousShine or win in contests doesn’t count. The references don’t count either, and neither does any official grifix content (like the official icons).
Other Star Points
You can obtain those by making entries for other challenges that don’t include art: poetry, cooking, WTA, etc. In these cases, your entry will be rewarded on it’s quality.
Gift Star Points
If you’re lucky enough, you might find Starlit Leaves dropped around. They might randomly pop out in species chats or in comments on random species posts on our amino. You must be quick and claim them! The person who first replies with "claim!" will get the amount of points that the leaf values.
Only @MysteriousShine can drop Starlit Leaves for free. If someone else drops them and they’re claimed, the points will get transferred from that person. If you don’t need your Star Points and wanna give them to someone but you don’t know who, just drop them! You can do that by sending the images of the Starlit Leaves you wanna drop in a grifix public chat or comment them somewhere on this amino. The images can be found above, but don’t forget their value!
What are the Star Points good for?
You can buy MYOs or adopts! You can not buy Star Points, but this is their value if you want to buy MYOs and adopts: 1$ = 1 Star Leaf (100 StarPoints). Some people may also sell adopts for SP. There might also be Star Points exclusive adopts.
(The value is just for reference, it depends on the seller how much they charge for a certain thing, and the price can be different than that in $).

You can surrender characters or MYOs for adoption anytime. Write your desired price for the adopt and make sure you also fill the currency field, otherwise it'll cause errors that are very hard to fix. Just to be sure, contact @MysteriousShine on Discord before surrendering a character.
Here's a screenshot with indications. The colored text refers to the content framed in the same color as the text. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!
Once the surrender is approved you will be given the SP instantly, and then the character will be displayed in the adoption shop. That means that you will be payed when the surrender is approved, not when the character is adopted.

Can be found here. Items are mostly collectibles.
how do I use them?
Most things on the website award Star Coins, and therefore, most things in the shop can be purchased with those. If you received any other form of Star Points (Star Leaves), you can convert them to Star Coins in the Star Point Shop. There, you can turn the Star Leaves that you own as CURRENCY into ITEMS that you can use to convert to STAR COINS.
