DIV-341: Scratch

Scratch is a tough and physically strong grifix, the scales on their fur providing good protection for them whenever they do their preychaser duties. The scales are tough enough that they could probably go toe-to-toe with a timberwolf (they probably wont). However the scales dig into their skin, causing constant pain. This leaves them to be miserable and short-tempered, and they will pick fights at the slightest inconvenience which often results in injury. They long for the day when their health will finally give out and the Mother to take them away from the pain.

Though there is one grifix that they like and eases the pain by just being around him. They met each other through preychasing. No one else understands how or why Daucus is the only one Scratch tolerates. They never speak to each other, Daucus being mute and Scratch only being able to communicate through grunts and growls. It baffles some grifix.
