EMP-438: Purple Calla

Purple Calla is Forrest's older sister. She finds Forest's stubbornness childish and tries her best to make him drop his crazy ideas, but to no avail. She's a close friend to Sweet Ivy, though they have a much more casual friendship than Ivy does with others of her friends. They used to meet up to drink together and that's pretty much all. Now Calla is probably the only person that Sweet Ivy may allow in her home.

Purple Calla is not some sort of big researcher or anything. She just takes pleasure and taking care of the plants in the main greenhouse - after all, someone has to. Those damn researchers are too busy all the time to actually pay attention to plants outside their research, and then complain that the plants are dead when they need them. So she makes sure each plant has enough water, no diseases are spreading, and everything's alright.

In her free time she collects flowers and makes perfume from them. She sells the perfume mainly to Entertainers in the Entertainment District, but rarely takes money, she's more interested in stories and secrets they have to share. She's not looking for anything in particular, but entertainers assume she wants tea on other herbalists and scholars so she ends up knowing a lot of secrets about her co-workers. She finds it scary when she thinks about all the insane things she knows her co-workers did, but then again, the things she hears never reach the level of insanity of the Purple Haze case, which she is all too familiar with.
