EVE-161: Silver Scroll

He always felt kinda annoyed by the idea that all males had to become warriors. He had no interest in such a thing and felt that violence could always be avoided and things could be completed in a different way. From his lack of motivation he didn’t have too good results in the camp, just enough to pass everything safely. He always tilted towards the most peaceful tasks and so he eventually got to enroll as a castle guard. He still disliked it cause it was boring as hell but it was alright, especially since he was mostly sent to a side of the castle where there was almost nobody, but a young mare who always snuck alone in a room. He soon came to meet her and found out she was the librarian. After that she often came to read him stuff and in the times where nobody would come to check if he was doing his duty he was sneaking in the library with her and helped her with anything he could. At some point she taught him to read the most used alphabets, so he could read some stuff on his own. They would also try out different spells they found in the old books. His magic is a bit stronger than average so he could do some pretty outstanding stuff.
