EVE-192: Frozen Forest

She lived two generations before the retirement of Eclipsa. She was a rebellious grifix, who thought of herself to have a great sense of justice. She had a very powerful magic, and her sphirix was an Ursa Major, who could reach the size of one. She started a rebellion against Eclipsa, sickened by her tyrannous reign, and many grifix decided to follow her into battle. Seeing so many grifix under her command, the power got to her head and she forgot her initial purpose: to give freedom to the grifix. She was now obsessed with killing Eclipsa, and couldn’t actually feel the anger she felt in the beginning seeing the oppressed grifix. Decided to end the Queen’s reign, she once went into battle. The killing intent got her into a trance, drunk on power and desire. Her sphirix started trampling the forest in search of Eclipsa, destroying everything and killing all in its way. But she didn’t think of looking behind her. The Queen stood there, silent, looking at the mare laughing maniacally. When her sphirix was about to reach the Village, Eclipsa sliced off her head. 

“Maybe I would’ve let you put an end to my reign -“ She spoke. “If you would actually be the good they all long for. You are but a greater evil than me.”

Frozen Forest had an egg not long before her death. The egg was recovered by Eclipsa and the kid raised in the Castle. He is now known as Frozen Mountain.
