Sunset Stars used to be insecure about everything around him, but learnt to be self-confident over time. Right now, he's a guard working to keep the village safe.
Sunset Stars is a grifix born to his rather strict father and a loving mother. He often had a lot of differences with his father and they often fought, but came to close ends after talking everything properly through. Early in his childhood, he got to know Star Waters through some other friends they both had. Sunset Stars often felt a bit left out when Star Waters was with the friends, but they quickly bonded. Their friends soon noticed that and were all convinced that the two should be together, so they secretly arranged something like a date for them that none of the two noticed before it was too late.
Reaping Sea - father
He used to hate his father. Always expecting the best and never accepting any failures or even just "nearly-bests". Not being able to meet his father's expectations and the fact that he was taller than everyone else made him feel very insecure of himself, and he often felt lonely.
However, he also became more and more angry at Reaping as he never experienced anything similar with his father as his friends did with theirs. He also never seemed to recognise Sunset's achievements and walked away from Sunset's sphirix ceremony when Longg manifested in a dragon as he had always said that Longg should become something sea-based.
They had a fight not long after Sunset's ceremony where Sunset accused Reaping of not caring about him at all, before storming off. He hid somewhere in the village, but heard his father come looking for him which Sunset didn't believe was true. Besides, he didn't want to come anyways.
But then, an old friend of his father interrupted his search and they got into a chat. Sunset wanted to use the opportunity to sneak away first, but then the friend asked questions Sunset had his whole life and he stopped to listen to them.
Amongst others, the friend was curious to know why Reaping left the ceremony. Reaping answered that he hadn't left the ceremony, he'd just walked to a better spot and replied upon the friend's question how he felt about Longg not being a sea-based sphirix that he actually was proud of his son for having such a unique and rare sphirix.
After that Sunset finally understood his father more and quickly ran home.
When Reaping turned home, he admitted to Lagoona, his mother, that he couldn't find Sunset. He and Lagoona were sad about it and that was when he emerged from the back rooms and apologised to his father.
Ever since then, their relationship got better and better.
