OUT-27: Enchanted Waters

She’s a unicorn who lived long ago, even before the two sisters walked upon the land of Equestria. In fact, she had a strange link with the appearance of Luna and Celestia. But her story doesn’t start there.

Back in that time, the world was sunk into darkness, hurt by wars between the pony races and all sorts of other beings. The spirits of chaos roamed free on the land, and on top of all two gods controlled their lives like in a game, as they were the peons. Powerless against them, most races ignored their existence, hoping they could live like that, but the unicorns had something else: magic. They thought they could fight the two goddesses and bring peace to the world. But they couldn’t kill them, for that would bring an end to this world. They had to imprison them.

In the search for a solution, six sorcerers came together, one of them being Starswirl the Bearded himself, and another one was Enchanted Waters. 

Enchanted’s power and passion revolves around alchemy, and especially artificial life. Through magic she sought a way to create artificial ponies, and she found various ways of doing so. One of them lingers up till today, known as the Mirror Pond, deep in the Everfree Forest.

Among the six sorcerers, they concluded that a being would be the best trap for the goddesses. But no being seemed strong enough to keep a god trapped inside. So Enchanted decided to create two bodies, that shared the traits of all pony races, that would be so powerful as a god couldn’t break out. It took a while, but in the end two babies took shape, radienting power. 

The sorcerers once ambushed the two goddesses and tried to trap them, one in each body. But in the process, it became clear that one body couldn’t support a god. It took the two of them just to trap one goddess. The sorcerers managed to trap Arka, the goddess of destruction, but Mortina fled. They never managed to catch Mortina, but neither did she bother the ponies for long. She soon seemed gone from this world, as if a god never existed.

After this, however, the movement of the celestial bodies slowed down considerably, leaving the world either in a month long night, or a month long, scorching day. The seasons refused to change as well. The ponies were destined to die if this kept on. 

The six sorcerers concluded that the two vessels of Arka could channel her magic to move the astral bodies, but they were too young and unstable for such a thing. So the six of them had to work themselves to death moving the sun every day. Gladly, the day when Luna and Celestia took over the throne of Equestria came soon, and the six sorcerers could finally go to rest peacefully.

Enchanted Waters was a warm unicorn, with a sweet personality. She loved all life and desired to create some of her own. When she created the two sisters, she made their body colors match hers, like if they were her daughters. The two sisters also contain her DNA, she’s somehow their mother.

- in other words, Celestia and Luna are homunculi (or ponunculi?). This also explains Celestia’s statement about Furry Heart being the first born alicorn, despite all mlp stories and comics pointing towards Celestia and Luna being born alicorns. They weren’t actually born, they were made. So that’s why Furry Heart is the first.
