OUT-60: Winterberry

Winterberry lived during King Umbra’s reign in the City of Thicket, she is quite shy and loved to work on potions for her fellow deer. One day a group of King Umbra’s soldiers came into Thicket and took some of the deer prisoners, Winterberry being one of them as she was wearing her usual black cloak and barrel around her neck. While being in the prison cell her barrel was taken from her but they let her keep her cloak, but while she was in the cell, all she did was draw with a piece of rock on the wall. She started to become dirty and covered with scars, also looking very weak. One day one of the grifix guarding the chamber slammed onto the bars and yelled at her to stop her drawing, Winterberry asking why it was so bad to draw while stuck doing nothing, always being very wise. The grifix had looked at her before being unsure what to say before telling her it was okay to continue, Winterberry asking for the name of this grifix as the grifix said his name was Thantanos. The two started to become very close and once King Umbra was murdered, one of the first things that happened was the grifix releasing the prisoners, Winterberry being overjoyed as she ran out to see the sunshine and then seeing Thantanos and speaking with him before she made friends with the grifixes and headed back home to Thicket with her fellow deer and deer king.
