Name meaning
dawn in swahili, I hope so at least ^^"
Alfajiri is Jua’s older cousin. He is in the same class as Snowflare and Blazing Dawn. He is close to Snowflare and the two hang out a lot, sometimes joined by Blazing Dawn. Grey, a griffon that's three years younger also hangs out a lot with them. Grey always tries to surpass his brother so to him it feels like hanging out with older students makes him cooler than his brother. Alfajiri doesn't mind, at least he knows that the kid won't get into much trouble if he hangs out with them.
Alfajiri is very close to his cousin, Jua, and very protective of her. However they to bicker a lot and he likes teasing her a lot, so to outsiders it might seem like the two aren't all that close. That is what Grey thought once, and seeing Alfajiri tease Jua, he thought it was "cool" to pick on her, and made a comment about her being unusually tall for a mare. That hurt Jua quite a lot, having insecurities about her femininity. Alfajiri got so angry at Grey, that he told him to never talk to them again.
Grey felt horrible when he realized what he had done, but he knew no apologies were enough for Alfajiri. He accepted the fact that Alfajiri may never accept him as a friend again, but he still wanted to apologize to Jua, for what he had done was horrible. So he asked Pumpkin Wing for help to bake some muffins as an apology to Jua, and he went to give those to her. He felt so bad he started crying while apologizing. Jua forgave him, after all the kid seemed to regret it so much he would never be able to forgive himself.
Later Jua told Alfajiri about Grey's apology and suggested that he forgives the kid too. Cause of that, Alfajiri decided that Grey deserved another chance so he invited him to sit with them at lunch like they used to. Grey was almost overwhelmed with happiness, he never thought Alfajiri would forgive him. He for sure learned his lesson.
