TRIBE-483: Yōrō

Name Meaning: 陽狼 (Yōrō): A fusion of "陽" (Yō), meaning sun, and "狼" (Ōkami), meaning wolf. At least I hope so. Would appreciate if someone with knowledge about this could confirm.

When Yōrō was a teenager, he became set on marrying Freezing Sun at all costs. The two of them were lovers for a while, but she refused to marry him. As the heir to the leadership of the Starfell Clan, she was demanding that she will not marry any grifix that can not see sphirix, because she wanted her child to be able to see sphirix. That wasn't a rule before, she just didn't want to marry anybody if they couldn't see sphirix - and Yōrō couldn't.

But in the ancient knowledge of Bluebell's followers, lied long forgotten knowledge - of the old potions used before the time of the First Warriors - and such potions had a special effect to them: if one was long exposed to their steam, they would become blind, but they would gain a special ability - to see sphirix. So Yōrō brewed himself such potions, and did so that he would be able to see sphirix, even though that led to him blinging himself.

Freezing Sun found his attempt pathetic, but there was nothing she could do - she had promised to marry the first grifix that could see sphirix who would propose to her, even knowing very well that nobody in the Clan at that time had that ability. So the two ended up marrying each other.

Pretty soon after that they had a son, Sun. But Sun couldn't see sphirix, so his parents were not very interested in him. Freezing Sun said that if Sun wouldn't develop the ability to see sphirix, he could not follow her as the leader of the Starfell Clan. Yōrō didn't like this - the sole reason he married her was so that his children would be the ones to lead the Clan in the future. So he tried to blind Sun, the same way he did to himself, but Sun refused, and threatened to kill himself if he would do such a thing to him. So in the end, Yōrō left him alone, but since then Yōrō and Freezing Sun stopped treating Sun as their child, and did so only when it was beneficial to them. Soon after, the two had another child Yoko. She turned out to be able to see sphirix, so they did nothing but spoil her. She became a brat that every member of the Clan hated, but they couldn't do anything about it.
