Bio: Moriana is one of the most sane grifix in the house, but she likes to honestly keep to herself, being cold and quiet outside of work. She sings a lot and is well-liked by customers and enjoys singing shanties the most because they are her favorite, but she likes to do other things more than singing, mostly stealing extremely expensive and shiny objects from customers.

When she was a cub, a group of siren cubs that were much older than her took her to the Dark Pool in the back room. Now she never knew at the time what happened back there, but she knew the pool was back there. She ended up getting pushed into the pool and left there to struggle, the older cubs laughing and leaving her there as she gasped for air, not knowing how to swim at all. She screamed with water in her mouth before her eyes closed and she floated to the bottom, being there until a tentacle wrapped around her and pulled her out of the water, it being Thalassa as she used her magic to remove the water from Moriana’s lungs and letting her breath again. Mori cried and was so cold as well as also her throat being sore for many days, she would’ve died if not for another young cub seeing the mean group of cubs running from the room and bubbles on the surface of the pool, getting the house mother as fast as she could to save Moriana.

With the Dark Pool having the ability to make customers hypnotic euphoria, Moriana experienced what customers did, but the things she saw were extremely horrifying so when she recovered from basically drowning, she was told what the Dark Pool was used for and she started to despise the room and avoid it at all costs as she grew older, not wanting to experience the same thing she did when she was younger. She lost trust in anyone in the house except for the house mother and the grifix that got help to save her from drowning completely, the meaning behind ‘true friends’ meant nothing to her, as long as she had food and a roof over her head she doesn’t care about anyone else.

She feels bad for the customers that experience the Dark Pool because of how scary it was, literally being held against your will and almost drowning..? She couldn’t bare to see it or imagine what the customers see since all customers don’t see the same things, so she stays out of the back and sings to customers but also steals, but then again she doesn’t like the stealing either. Sometimes she would slide the belongings she stole back to the customers before they were thrown out of the house’s deck, but a very old siren saw what she was doing and got extremely mad at her for not stealing what rightfully belonged to them after all their hard work. ‘It really isn’t ours to take.. it belongs to the grifix who owned it but whatever..’ was all that ran through her head anytime she got caught giving items back.

Because of being caught multiple times, she was put onto the stealing sirens group, but she also still sang. But she did have a little bit of insanity in her, but it wasn’t really an extremely bad thing. She loved shiny things. Jewelry, hairpieces, etc. All the shells she wears? Stolen from a customer. All the clothes she wears? Stolen from a customer. Even the way she styles her hair? Yep, ideas stolen from a customer.

She hates stealing from customers still, unless it involves shiny and pretty things. Now that type of stealing, she is definitely okay with stealing those and steals them with delight. She’s like a crow in ways of hoarding shiny objects, showing them off and wearing them to give them the love they deserve. She sometimes even has trouble keeping herself from stealing from customers that aren’t extremely drunk or haven’t passed out yet. She had almost stolen a super expensive and super shiny pearl necklace from a customer that just walked in.. but she got it when the customer passed out so she was satisfied in the end.
