Umbra Armor

King Umbra once found a spell that could gain him everything he was starving for: a spell that enchanted over a specific kind of rock, found only in the distant Smokey Mountains, could give him control over those who wore pieces of that stone. It was hard for him to obtain the rock but in the end he obtained it, but he was already king by then. He ordered to be made armors that contained pieces of that rock for all the Grifix, not telling anyone about his actual plan. In the end he cast the spell on the armors and that gave him control over all the warriors. The armor he wore was similar to the others, but yet different. Cause the one who wore it had control over all the others.

This, however, was draining the souls out of the Grifix that wore the armors everyday. Soon, they lost all touch with reality and their sphirix faded to nothingness. They were literally walking corpses serving the king.

After the king’s death, the Grifix threw the armors away, trying to destroy them. They did that just because they didn’t want to have any recollections of the Nightmare King, not because they knew what the armors actually were. Up to this day, no grifix found out the truth about the armors.
