Frostfallen Berries

This is a very popular fruit amongst the Everfree Village grifix. It doesn't have any medical uses, but the healers keep that a secret because they use it to calm down little grifix. When a filly falls down and gets hurt, or if they panick, the healers will give them one of those fruits and tell them it is a miracle cure, making use of what one might call the placebo effect. That way, the little grifix get distracted from the wound and calm down. They also love the fruit, as it has a very sweet and refreshing taste, similar to cotton candy.

The only actual use those fuits may have is during heat waves in the summer, as they are very hydrating. The healers always keep some in a dark cooler spot in case a grifix gets sick from the heat. But all grifix like to have some if they find them in the forest, so not only the healers keep them.

In the Frozen Empire, the Everfree grifix did bring some seeds along during the great migration, so they haven't been lost. The Herbalist Guild grows them, but as most plants, it is very hard to successfully grow them, so they are still very rare, and only herbalists that grow them and high influence grifix have the pleasure of enjoying them once in a while. They are especially hard to grow, since it is a plant that thrives in warm climates and only produces fruit during the summer, when it's really hot outside.
