OUT-1: Mysterious Shine

She is a wildlife expert that has adventured all over the world in search of rare species and made many studies on rare creatures' behavior. Her goal is, though, discoverring a certain species that no pony has recorded before. 

In her childhood memories resides a foggy memory of a strange village, a strange queen and strange inhabitants. The memory feels like a dream, and might as well have been one but that doesn't stop her from searching for it. Other ponies call her absurd for chasing such an uncertain dream, but she doesn't care. Its not like her life is a wreak or snything, she's successfull and has fun with her job, so why bother with their opinions.

Her studies led her to the Everfree Forest: it seems like fillies living in towns surrounding the forest had all seen something, but they all were sworn to secrecy, so she has to rely on other adults' foggy memories.

There is one object that keeps reassuring her it was real: an old feather brooch with some felted wool balls. She found it in her old stuff and treasures it, as it is the only link she has with that strange dream.
