Fluzenball

Fluzenballs are very useful birds, so that they became livestock for the Everfree Grifix, being probably the only such animal. While their meat is delicious, their long reathers shed regularily and they love to nest on grifix houses, often laying infertile eggs like chicken do, which act as a great food source for the grifix.

Their preferred habitat is grasslands, as they camouflage perfectly in dry grass. The forest isn't a great habitat for them, so they looked for dry grass in meadows and so they found the Everfree Village and decided to nest on the roofs which are made of dry grass, reed and other dry plants which match their original habitat. They blend in really well on the roofs, sometimes tucking their head into the roof or their own fur and laying close to the roof so they become almost unrecognizable from the roof itself. They didn't seem to mind grifix too much, and they were eventually domesticated by them, while they still run when a grifix approaches, they won't move off their nests when a grifix is searching under for eggs, or they will follow grifix who regularily feed them around. 

Their feathers are sometimes used for clothing, tho they're especially good for filling pillows. While you could make a coat out of them, the trouble of sticking the feathers into place isn't really worth it so grifix prefer to use animal skins instead. 

The feathers can be, however, spun into a thread which can then be used for making big pieces of fiber which they sometimes use for clothing, similarily to sheep wool. Depending on how the feathers are processed, they can do anything wool can, they can even be felted, so grifix call it wool even if it doesn't come from sheep.

The "wool" doesn't need to be shaved off of the birds, as they shed it regularily and it can easily be picked up from their nests or places where they usually stay.

They are about as big as a chicken, and their eggs look similar to those of chicken, except for some green dots. They have thick green legs and their beaks have something similar to teeth which they use to grind up grass which they eat.
