Not-cats are friendly apparitions that appeared from the common memory about cats. Frozen Empire grifix believe them to be cats, and find nothing wrong about them, but if someone that has actually seen cats before were to see not-cats, they would certainly feel something wrong. Grifix that have cat sphirix are often repulsed by them, getting a strong uncany feeling. Despite that, most grifix are convinced that they are, in fact, cats.
They are very common in the Entertainment District, and even worshiped sometimes. Grifix just call them "cats".
They live in collonies and are NOT kept as pets (grifix don't have pets, they don't feel the need due to having their sphirix). Some Entertainment Houses feed them and so they hang out around those places.
