They are hooved mammals that have similar body built with ponies. Their top side of the head, from the top of the nose up the forehead to the ears is covered in scales, as well as their back.
They have red horns that are organically curved and can be branched, and often have markings on them in different shades of red. The tips of the horns are usually rounded.
Their ears are bigger than those of ponies, with round ends that are curved backwards.
They have griffon like tails, but shorter, with hair at the end.
Their manes go around their necks like lion manes. Their hair is commonly wavy/curly, not straight.
On the front legs, they have fluffs made of fur. On the back legs they have fluffs made of hair.
Their hooves are round, split, and placed on the front half of their legs.
Their lashes seem to be thicker than thosee of ponies.
When angry, they turn into NIRIK.
Nirik look similar to kirin, except of these traits:

Their head scales disappear, as well as the hair fluffs on the back legs.
Their horn, ears and teeth change shape, becoming more sharp.
Their hair turns to fire, usually blue-purple-red colored. They also have flame mist around their hooves, and flames coming out of their upper eyelashes.
